Sukob is Certified Box Office Hit!
Kung may Pirates of the Carribean na namamayagpag sa box office sa USA, may local version din ito. Sukob has surpassed the total box office cume for Feng Shui and is poised to be the topgrossing film of all-time for Star Cinema. This is good news for Philippine Cinema na talaga namang naghihikahos na. With hits after hits this year, nangangahulugang may chance pa para makabawi ang industiya sa bansa natin. Good luck at sana tuloy tuloy na ang swerte!
BINAWI na ni Kris Aquino ang naging pronouncement na titigil na siya sa paggawa ng pelikula after Sukob.
Ang nasabing pronouncement ay in deference kay James (Yap, Kris' husband of one year) na, ayon sa aktres-host, ay 'di maintindihan ang unpredictable hours sa paggawa ng pelikula.
This time, she has James' blessings. However, that's on the condition that her next movie will be done after maipanganak ang panganay nila ni James.
Ang isa pang nag-inspire kay James to give Kris his consent to continue doing movies ay ang natanggap nitong bonus (for Sukob) sa Star Cinema.

Right now, malapit na nitong ma-outgross ang third biggest hit ng Star Cinema, the Claudine-Piolo starrer, Milan.
Ang Tanging Ina ang kinu-consider na pinaka-top grosser ng kumpanya until now. Second is Anak, which, if you noticed, also starred Claudine with Vilma Santos.
Sa victory blowout ng Sukob, binanggit ni Ms. Santos na oo, papayagan niya na ang next assignment ni direk Chito ay isang drama, pero, dapat, ang kasunod nu'n ay isang horror-suspense thriller muli. By then, malamang na nakapanganak na si Kris sa panganay nila ni James. Tiyak kasing gugustuhin ni direk Chito na si Kris muli ang star ng gagawing horror-suspense movie.
