History:
The ESL Edu-Tourism Institute opened in 2006 with the aim of providing high quality English language tuition in a beautiful and natural environment and to compliment this educational experience with a range of activity options.
Mission Statement:
Global interdependence has created an unprecedented and urgent need for better communication between individuals of diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. ESL Edu-Tourism Institute has chosen to help meet that need by committing its talents and energies to the intensive teaching of English, to cultural orientation, and to academic preparation for those from other societies wishing to learn the English language.
This commitment is not lightly made. To accept the challenge of preparing students of today for the uncertain demands of tomorrow is a sobering act. It is undertaken only in consort with a faculty which brings to the task the highest standards of professionalism tempered by sensitivity and humility, and by administrators with the foreknowledge that they lead best by serving, and serve best by constantly striving for instructional quality tailored to a diverse student audience.
By striving to play it small role well, ESL Edu-Tourism Institute believes it can improve communications between peoples by helping to bridge those precious differences that give us roots and rudders in an ever shrinking and restless world.
Quality:
The ESL Edu-Tourism Institute is accredited with TESDA Philippines. TESDA is an industry based organisation that maintains quality assurance for all technical training schools in Philippines. It stands for quality.
Teachers:
All our teachers have: ESL qualification, teaching experience with overseas students, a friendly approach to their classes, and some foreign language skills.
Facilities:
The institute has comfortable air-conditioned classrooms. A large covered outdoor common space which we also use for conversation groups is available. TV/Video facilities are also available for use in classroom and situations. The institute also offers computer/internet facilities for its students. These facilities are used in some classroom and self access activities as well as for students' personal need to communicate with family and friends at home by email.
The institute is affiliated with some of Bohol's topnotch resorts and hotels where the students are housed. ESL Edu-Tourism Institute does not only provide the best in ESL learning but we also infuse the fun factor with the learning. This is our edge with the rest of the pack.
