This is My Son, Tonzy

I was 21 years old when I had my first (and hopefully not the last) child. When I heard the news from my wife that she is three-month pregnant, I was so excited and ecstatic.

The feeling of having a child of your own is unexplainable. It is a combination of various emotions. Up until the birth of the child, an expectant father can only wish and pray that the child will be healthy and sound.

Two months before the actual birth of my child, my two best friends, Jackson Budlong (now in Florida, USA) and Daylene Doguiles (now in Thailand) suggested two names, one if the baby is a boy (Rafael Antoine-Matthieu) and one if the baby is a girl (Raine Amber-Millicent). Blessed with a bouncing baby boy, my wife and I gave the name Rafael Antoine-Matthieu, with a nickname of Tonzy. My son was born on November 22, 2001.
